DESCRIPTION:For All Ages – Families\, Teens and Adults \nDo you want to learn how to train your family pet to be a Therapy Dog? \nCome meet Renee and Stanley\, a Pet Therapy team from ROAR (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue). Renee will discuss how to get your dog licensed as a therapy dog and the training involved. \nPet Therapy teams go into schools\, libraries and senior facilities to let people interact with the animals. A team comes to our Library on the first Thursday of the month at 4 pm for “Tales for Tails\,” a reading enrichment program for children. \nPlease register all family members who will be attending.
