SUMMARY:Family Fun Saturday: Nature Shadow Boxes
DESCRIPTION:For all ages. \nOur friends from the Lewisboro Garden Club are holding a workshop for children on how to make Nature Shadow Boxes. The boxes are inspired by the work of artist Joseph Cornell\, famous for his boxed assemblages created from found objects. \nEach child will work with found objects\, paint\, glue and nature materials to create an environment in their individual box. They will learn about Cornell as they assemble their works of art. \nParticipants should bring a small box or shoe box to be used as the base for their shadow box. \nSpace is limited\, please register your child below. \n\nNote: photographs are often taken at our events to post on social media and our website. Please let the event leader know if you would prefer your child not be photographed.
