This one-hour program\, led by members of the National Guard\, will go over the steps you need to take to prepare for an emergency.\n \nThe Preparedness Training Program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster\, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible. This non-fiction book\, written by the Pulitzer Prize-winner Katherine Boo\, won the National Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize\, among many others. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants.
