This historical fiction set in WWII-era Malaysia\, is about a half-Chinese\, half-English teenager who forms a deep bond with a Japanese diplomat and aikido master\, only to be caught in a devastating conflict of loyalty when Japan invades. \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
