DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!! \n  \nIt’s been a few years\, but live theater returns to the Library stage with a performance of Beyond Therapy on Friday\, March 21 at 7:30 pm! \n\nCome enjoy the “explosive comic brilliance of Christopher Durang” (NY Times) in his hilarious\, off-the-wall satire of modern therapy. It tells the story of Bruce and Prudence\, two modern\, neurotic urbanites searching for love and sanity – with the questionable help of their offbeat therapists. Presented by Katonah Classic Stage\, Beyond Therapy features Broadway veterans and great local talent in a tour de force reading of one of Durang’s most popular comedies. It is directed by Trent Dawson. \n\n\n\nFounded in 2019\, Katonah Classic Stage is a non-profit\, professional theatre company committed to producing the most engaging classic and contemporary plays that will enrapture audiences in Northern Westchester.  \nReserved seating is $45 per person. DESCRIPTION:The Reverend Frank Hakoola\, known as “Fr. Frank” is a Priest In Charge of St. Johns’ Episcopal Church in South Salem and St. Paul’s Chapel in Vista since 2023. He recently wrote Unwrapping The Greatest of Human Resources\, a book which explores the nature and value of Spirituality to every human being. The gist of the message is that all humans are as spiritual as they are physical. If humans know the importance of taking care of their physical selves\, then they ought to take care of their spiritual self.  It explores the connectedness of spirituality to one’s personal identity.\n\n\n\nA Native of Zambia\, in Africa\, Fr. Frank came to New York in 2016 to work as a Priest and Grants Officer at Trinity Church Wall Street. His work involved collaborating with beneficiaries of a grants program as well as the church’s community engagement. He has immense experience in developing local and global church leadership. Unwrapping the Greatest of Human Resources is Frank’s first publication.\n\nPlease register below.

This one-hour program\, led by members of the National Guard\, will go over the steps you need to take to prepare for an emergency.\n \nThe Preparedness Training Program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster\, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible. DESCRIPTION:The Nightclub@Lewisboro Library is thrilled to welcome back “Pluck & Rail” for another ‘Music in the Stacks’ concert on Saturday\, May 3 at 7:30 pm! \n“Pluck & Rail” members George Gierer and Andrew Sussman blend together gritty songwriting\, tight vocal melodies and soaring cello runs to craft their unique sound. Their live performances blister with a passion and energy not often seen in acoustic music\, as they back their vocals with everything from guitar to banjo to cello to violin. For an extra-special evening\, they’ll be bringing along guests Zach Swanson on bass\, Steve Uh on violin\, Nick Lieto on Trumpet and Caitlin Pfisterer on piano. These outstanding musicians guarantee a musical event not to be missed! \nSince forming\, Pluck & Rail have been featured performers at the The Long Island Bluegrass Festival\, the Rock n’ Roots Music Festival\, The Great Eastern Music Festival\, The Ridgefield Playhouse\, Daryl’s House\, The Towne Crier\, The Hurdy Gurdy Folk Music Club\, and opened for the Steep Canyon Rangers\, Sarah Shook and Red Molly. \nReserved seating is $45 per person.
