DESCRIPTION:We have another great project for those who love to craft – and give back to others in our community! \nCome join the fun\, crafting and assembling a gift bag of Valentine-themed goodies to be delivered to local Homebound Seniors. \nThe Crafters will be making a “Chain of Good Wishes” for each senior using stencils and ultra-fine markers to decorate our five wishes for each senior: Peace\, Joy\, Health\, Fun and Love. DESCRIPTION:Come join other adults for an evening of board games\, socializing and strategizing. \nAdult Game Night meets on the third Friday of each month\, from 6 to 9 pm. Registration is required. \nEach session will be led by Ryan Oakes\, who will focus on teaching one to two popular games\, depending on the number of people registered. \nIn February\, join us for Long Shot –  This is your ticket to the track! In Long Shot: The Dice Game\, you and up to seven other players will strategize and push your luck as the action unfolds in a tense race of eight horses. During the game you buy horses\, place bets\, influence race movement\, and utilize special abilities. Will you play it safe\, or risk it big on a long shot? \nSpace is limited\, please register below. If the program is full\, you can email the Library to be placed on the waitlist. We sometimes get cancellations the day before.

DESCRIPTION:This is a 5-6 hour Defensive Driving course. \nCompletion of the course results in a ten percent liability insurance discount* to the principal operator as well as a maximum of four points off the driver’s violation record. Please note: this does not qualify as the defensive driving course required for new teen drivers. \nSpace is limited. Please register below and then pay in person at the Library by February 17 to hold your reservation. The fee is $45; seniors age 65 and over pay $35. Check should be made payable to John Coxen. If registration is full\, please email the Library at lewisborolibrary@gmail.com to be placed on the wait list. \nThere will be a 30-minute lunch break\, so be sure to bring a bag lunch. \n\n* All insurance companies operating or licensed to operate in NYS must accept the certificate for the discount.

DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!  \n  \nIt’s BROADWAY on Main Street!  Come kick off the Library’s 2026 concert series with an evening of show tunes from classics to little-known gems. \nThe talented group of performers have been performing Broadway Nights together since 2014. Each has an impressive musical background. \nHeather Mieko Lackey toured with The King and I\, Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story\, and Cats. She is currently the Chief of Staff to Assemblymember Chris Burdick. Barbara Anselmi has many years of experience as a music director/arranger and orchestrator. Her musical\, It Shoulda Been You\, played on Broadway and is now in regional theatres across the country. Heather Villaescusa Haddad is an award-winning cabaret artist\, and has toured with Crazy for You and Guys and Dolls. Jay Haddad is an actor/singer who has appeared in regional productions of Little Shop of Horrors\, Cabaret\, and Merrily we Roll Along. Johnny Hawkins has toured with Jesus Christ Superstar and Cabaret\, and performed as a soloist at venues like The Hollywood Bowl and the Goodspeed Opera House. \n \nReserved seating is $45 per person. Wine\, beer and light bites are included. We are so thankful for our wine and food sponsors – Captain Lawrence Barrel House\, Country Liquor\, the Horse and Hound\, and Lily’s Deli & Market.
