Education and outreach about invasive species increases awareness and knowledge\, which are necessary precursors to behavior changes that could reduce risks throughout the State. \n\n\n\n\n\n“Uninvited: The Spread of Invasive Species” is an engaging one-hour documentary which focuses on invasive species and highlights those that are threatening our environment and economy\, while also showing innovative ways of combating these threats through the NYS Department of Conservation’s collaborative work with its partners. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Brent Boscarino\, PhD\, Coordinator\, Lower Hudson Partnership for Regional Invasive Species Management. \n\nPresented by the Lewisboro Land Trust\, the Lewisboro Garden Club and the Lewisboro Library. \nDue to Covid precautions\, space will be limited to allow for social distancing and participants are required to wear masks. DESCRIPTION:The Lewisboro Library Community Crafters are back with another surprise gift to give back to the community!  Will you join us in spreading a little kindness?\n\nWe are planning a “Secret Valentine” gift for our local homebound seniors. Due to the rise in Covid cases\, we are doing this one as a simple Take & Make activity. We will provide all the materials needed in a “Secret Valentines” kit that can be picked up in our Curbside Service Vestibule. You can make the gift at home and then return it to the Library for delivery.\n\nPlease register below so we can leave a materials kit with your name on it for pick up in the Curbside Service Vestibule. We ask that you pick up the kit beginning Monday\, January 31 and return it NO LATER than Monday\, February 7.
