SUMMARY:Mahjong Madness Tournament!
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the Lewisboro Library’s inaugural Mahjong Tournament to benefit the Library! \nEnjoy the play\, prizes\, party-like atmosphere – and yummy refreshments. \nBring your 2026 Mahjong card\, and a Mahjong set if you have one. Arrival time is 6 pm for check-in\, the games begin at 6:30. \nSpace is limited\, players must register in advance \nReserved seats are $45 per player. The best way to reserve seating is to gather four players\, and then have one person purchase seats for the group. (This guarantees you being seated together\, and helps us in setting up the rooms before everyone arrives). Of course\, smaller groups and individual players are also welcome\, and we’ll pair you with other players. \nReserve your seats HERE\, or in person at the Library. \nA special thank you to Donna Pirro\, for organizing this fundraiser for the Library!

DESCRIPTION:This monthly\, one hour prompt-led workshop is for those who are caring for and supporting a loved one alongside an illness\, diagnosis or aging. This is a time just for you\, to be in community and connection with others who understand. \nThe workshop is led by Grief Coach and Educator\, Barri Leiner Grant\, Founder of The Memory Circle (www.thememorycircle.com) for grief and loss. Barri supports grievers in her work and spent ten years as a caregiver for her father Neil who lived with Alzheimer’s. \nThis prompt and process workshop allows you to be your own story witness\, and helps to process and tend to your experience through writing and discussion. Get ready for challenging questions\, drinks at Happy Hour prices\, delicious food and prizes – all under the lights of the patio! \nQuestions will cover a range of topics including general knowledge\, pop culture\, history\, music\, and more. A great way to gather with your neighbors\, win prizes\, and compete for the title of Lewisboro Library Trivia Champions! \nReserved seats are $25 per player. The best way to reserve seating is to form your team (ideally 2 – 4 players)\, and then have a team captain purchase seats for the group. Knowing the number on each team will help us in setting up the venue before everyone arrives. Of course\, individual players are also welcome\, and we’ll do our best to pair you with another team.
