DESCRIPTION:Welcome to Our Nightclub Concerts!*\n \nOn Friday\, November 21\, the band “Susan Said” returns to the Library stage\, following their sold-out performance two years ago! This alternative rock band from NYC has been playing for over 30 years. It features lead singer/songwriter Susan Wilson-Sed\, Matthew Rocchio on bass\, Brendan Saadat on lead guitar and Todd Budich on drums. A popular local favorite\, the band has toured the US\, Europe\, and Canada\, and released 4 albums. \nReserved seating is $45 per person. Price includes beer\, soft drinks\, wine and light bites. Doors will open at 7:00 pm. \nThis event is a benefit for the Lewisboro Library. We are so thankful for our presenting sponsor\, realtor Mark Boyland\, as well as our wine and food sponsors – Captain Lawrence Barrel House\, Country Liquor\, the Horse and Hound\, and Lily’s Deli. DESCRIPTION:The Lewisboro Library Book Group USUALLY meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. Due to the Thanksgiving holiday\, the group will meet instead on December 3. \nThis month the group will be discussing The Years\, by Annie Ernaux. The Years is a personal narrative of the period 1941 to 2006 told through the lens of memory\, impressions past and present – even projections into the future – photos\, books\, songs\, radio\, television and decades of advertising\, headlines\, contrasted with intimate conflicts and writing notes from 6 decades of diaries. \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
