He has performed in 48 states and 24 countries\, but calls Pawling his home. It documents the complications of growing up and navigating through a working class family and that family’s business – the exterminating business. Maloney’s Brooklyn comes to life in startling ways\, funny and sad in equal measure\, an ode to old Brooklyn\, all the way down to how to properly pronounce the Kosciuszko Bridge. \nIan S. Maloney grew up in Marine Park\, Brooklyn\, where he worked as a NYS Pest Control Technician. He is Director of the Jack Hazard Fellowship for the New Literary Project\, Contributor at Vol. 1 Brooklyn\, and former Professor of Literature\, Writing\, and Publishing at St. Francis College in Brooklyn\, NY.
