DESCRIPTION:This year’s Annual Meeting features a discussion with acclaimed producer/songwriter Sam Hollander. \nOne of the most renowned songwriters and producers in the game\, Sam Hollander has had multi-platinum success writing and producing for the likes of Panic! At The Disco (“High Hopes”)\, One Direction\, blink-182\, Weezer\, Train (“Save Me\, San Francisco”)\, Jewel\, Fitz and the Tantrums (“HandClap”)\, Carole King and Ringo Starr\, among others. To date\, he has achieved 23 US Top 40 Hits and received Emmy nominations for his work on songs created for SMASH\, and Sesame Street. \n \nHis best-selling memoir\, 21 Hit Wonder: Flopping My Way To The Top Of The Charts\, is a collection of anecdotes from Sam’s wild music industry roller-coaster ride to help aspiring songwriters and other creatives learn about survival\, endurance\, scheming\, hustle\, and the importance of laughing even on the worst days of the journey. We’ll be raffling off a copy of Sam’s book to one lucky audience member! \nSam’s presentation will be preceded by a short business meeting.
