DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane\, South Salem.  All seniors are welcome! \nThis month the group will be discussing How to Read a Book\, by Laura Wood. It is a heartfelt\, uplifting novel about a chance encounter at a bookstore\, exploring redemption\, unlikely friendships\, and the life-changing power of sharing stories. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. DESCRIPTION:The Lewisboro Library Book Group will now meet at the Library on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. \nThis month the group will be discussing The Inheritance of Loss\, by Kiran Desai. Set in the 1980s\, the novel follows parallel stories in the Himalayas and New York City\, focusing on an old judge\, his orphaned granddaughter\, and his cook’s son\, as they navigate cultural clashes\, economic inequality\, and the lasting impacts of colonialism. \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
