DESCRIPTION:Have you always wanted to learn Mahjong? This 4-week session will give you the basic skills to start playing. \nThis is NOT a drop-in program. We need to know the number of players to set up the room. \nSpace is limited. Registration was taken prior to June 7. Please contact the Library if you would like to be on the wait list. \nYou will need to have your own set of 2024 Mahjong cards\, which can be ordered via the National Mahjong League or on Amazon.

DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS NOW SOLD OUT! \nLooking for a unique Father’s Day gift – or a hilarious date night? How about a NYC comedy club experience – right here in Lewisboro? That’s right\, it’s the return of the “Hard Headed Comedy Showcase.” This event features four stand-up comics – who regularly perform on TV\, at festivals and comedy clubs – now performing on the stage of the Library! \n\nAppearing that Night: \nLinette Palladino – https://www.linettepalladino.com \nLinette has performed at clubs and festivals all over the United States\, and internationally. She has opened for some of America’s best comics including Dave Attell\, and Carole Montgomery. She was one of five nationwide finalists in the HBO Latino Stand-up Competition\, and recently earned the top block as Jersey’s Funniest Female. Offstage\, Linette is a mom\, wife\, and currently serves as a Major in the US Army. \nErik Angel – https://www.erikangelcomedy.com/\n\nAn Israeli-Jewish-American\, Angel’s comedy deals with being a recent immigrant\, fortyish\, a newlywed\, that he’s Jewish\, and speaks English-Falafel 24/7. He performs in venues all over the US\, Europe\, Israel and Tokyo\, and has opened for major headliners including Maz Jobrani and Zarna Garg\, and has participated in comedy festivals. He’s been seen on CBS news and has more than 2M views on his Tik-Tok page. \n\nLana Siebel – http://www.lanasiebel.com/home.html\n\nLana Siebel is a New York City based comedian who has been headlining shows across the United States\, recently at The Comic Strip (NYC)\, The Tropicana in Atlantic City (NJ)\, Governor’s Comedy Club (NY). She was very recently featured on the site Comics that Kill along with Kevin Hart\, Sebastian Maniscalco\, Jim Gaffigan and other great comedians. \nLuz Michelle – https://luzmichelleinc.com/ \nLuz has channeled her unique life experiences and background into a successful comedy career\, gracing stages such as Caroline’s\, Gotham Comedy Club\, The Stand\, The Laugh Riot Grrrl Comedy Festival\, GMA and more\, with her malapropisms and unique style. As Founder of Hard Headed Comedy™\, a comedy entertainment company\, Luz produces live and streamed showcases featuring a diverse mix of established and up-and-coming comedic talent. \n\n\nWe are so grateful to Luz\, for organizing this fundraiser again! \nThe comedy shows sell out quickly every year!
