SUMMARY:Citizen Preparedness Training Program
DESCRIPTION:This Program is Full! Please contact the Library to be placed on the wait list.\n \nBe prepared for emergencies and disasters! This one-hour program\, led by members of the National Guard\, will go over the steps you need to take to prepare for an emergency.\n \nThe Preparedness Training Program teaches residents to have the tools and resources to prepare for any type of disaster\, respond accordingly and recover as quickly as possible. Participants will be advised on how to properly prepare for any natural or man-made disaster\, including developing a family emergency plan and stocking up on emergency supplies. \nEach family that attends will receive one Preparedness kit (see below). \n \nSpace is limited to 65 people and registration is required by APRIL 15.  Please register via the NY State Citizen Preparedness site HERE. Please note: the State registration site does not send confirmations or reminders\, so please set your own reminder in your calendar.
