DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the South Salem Firehouse. All seniors are welcome! \nThis month the group will be discussing The Thursday MURDER Club\, by Richard Osman. In a peaceful retirement village\, four unlikely friends meet up once a week to investigate unsolved murders. But when a brutal killing takes place on their very doorstep\, the Thursday Murder Club find themselves in the middle of their first live case! \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. SUMMARY:(Virtual) True Crime Fiction Writing
DESCRIPTION:Via Zoom\n\n\nImagination meets investigation in this virtual five-week True Crime Fiction Writing program.  Each week writers will explore a True Crime case and put a new spin on the facts by writing stories from different points of view — neighbors\, co-workers\, the victim or the accused. The program is created and led by fiction writing teacher\, Kim Kovach.\n\n\nKim Kovach teaches fiction writing\, creative writing and personal story writing classes via Zoom. She is the author of six fiction books. DESCRIPTION:The Lewisboro Library Book Group usually meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. \nThe book selection for this month is To the Lighthouse\, by Virginia Woolf. The book takes place between 1910 and 1920 and revolves around various members of the Ramsay family during visits to their summer residence on the Isle of Skye in Scotland. \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
