SUMMARY:"Bull" - A Katonah Classic Stage Production - SOLD OUT
DESCRIPTION:This production is SOLD OUT – please email the Library to go on the waitlist. \nLive theater returns to the Library stage with a performance of Bull on Friday\, March 13 at 7:30 pm! \n\nBull\, by Mike Bartlett\, is a wickedly funny\, razor-sharp workplace comedy – that just happens to turn brutal. Set during a single office meeting\, Bull unleashes a rapid-fire battle of wits as three employees spar with jokes\, jabs\, and bullying\, as they await a meeting with their boss to determine who will be laid off. Bartlett’s dialogue crackles with comic timing\, exposing the absurdity of office culture\, team-building buzzwords\, and professional politeness\, even as the stakes escalate. Dark\, daring\, and laugh-out-loud sharp\, Bull is a thrilling satire that proves just how funny – and frightening – the modern workplace can be when winning is everything. \nPresented by Katonah Classic Stage\, Bull features local actors from stage and screen. It stars Samantha Steinmetz (Sense & Sensibility\, The Seagull); Nathan Winklestein (Red Bull Theater\, Shakespeare Theater Company); Christian Conn (Shakespeare Theater Company\, Law & Order) and Trent Dawson (A Man for All Seasons\, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.) Dawson is also directing this production. \n\n\nReserved seating is $45 per person. Wine\, beer and light bites are included. \nThis event is a benefit for the Lewisboro Library. We are so thankful for our food and beverage sponsors – Captain Lawrence Barrel House\, Country Liquor\, the Horse and Hound\, and Lily’s Deli & Market\, as well as our Presenting Sponsor\, the Women’s Civic Club of Katonah. Their sponsorship helps underwrite the cost of the event\, so more proceeds can go directly to the Library. \nDoors will open at 7:00 pm for the 7:30 show. \n\nFounded in 2019\, Katonah Classic Stage is a non-profit\, professional theatre company committed to producing engaging classic and contemporary plays to enrapture audiences in Northern Westchester.
