DESCRIPTION:Adults & Teens age 12 and over \nJoin us to learn about birding and our region’s native plants from Bedford Audubon’s expert naturalist\, Tait Johansson. June is a lovely time to see breeding birds in and around the shrub lands that surround Bedford Audubon’s Bylane Farm. Tait will teach participants how to recognize birds by sight or sound\, and a good variety of species can be expected to be seen. \nSturdy shoes\, pants\, a hat\, and binoculars are recommended. Steady rain and other inclement weather will cancel. Bylane Farm is located at 35 Todd Road\, Katonah\, NY 10536. DESCRIPTION:WOW! Thanks to your overwhelming response\, seats to our Hard Headed Comedy Showcase sold out in a week! Many thanks for supporting this Library fundraiser. \n  \nLooking for a unique Father’s Day gift? How about a NYC comedy club experience – right here in Lewisboro? That’s right\, it’s the return of the “Hard Headed Comedy Showcase.” This event features SIX stand-up comics – who regularly perform on TV\, podcasts and venues such as the Comedy Cellar and the New York Comedy Club – now performing on the stage of the Library! \nThe show is the Friday before Father’s Day\, so expect parenting to be a common theme that evening. Performers include headliner Mark De Mayo\, (Comedy Central\, Last Comic Standing)\, Carolyn Castiglia (New York Comedy Club\, Women in Comedy Festival)\, Alyce Chan (Comedy Cellar\, Carolines)\, Patrick Holbert (The Movie Loft\, The Comic’s Table) Andrew Woolford (Laughter Hours/Late Night Comedy) and hosted by comic and local resident Luz Michelle (Gotham Comedy Club\, NYC Comedy Festival). Thanks to Luz for organizing this fundraiser again for her hometown Library!
