In this autobiographical novel\, Theophilus arrives in Newport\, RI in 1926\, after leaving a teaching job and finds work in the mansions of the wealthy\, becoming entangled in their lives and solving their problems with a mix of playfulness and shrewdness \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
