SUMMARY:Tales for Tails
DESCRIPTION:Grades K – 5 \nIn this program\, children will read to therapy dogs\, which helps children develop their reading skills and their sense of compassion. They will also learn about animal-savvy behavior and volunteerism. \nThe program will be led by volunteers from ROAR (Ridgefield Operation for Animal Rescue). It will take place on the first Thursday of each month (excluding January\, which is New Year’s Day!) \nThere are four 15-minute time slots available –  4:00 pm\, 4:15 pm\, 4:30 pm and 4:45 pm. (Siblings share a time slot\, so please only register one spot for your FAMILY.) There will be three therapy dogs\, so three families can register per time slot. \nPlease register below for your desired time slot (the first one is 4 pm\, second is 4:15 pm\, etc). \nSince the time slots are only 15 minutes\, please arrive promptly so you don’t miss any of your time! \nNote: photographs are often taken at our events to post on social media and our website. Please let the event leader know if you would prefer your child not be photographed.
