DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane\, South Salem All seniors are welcome! \nThis month the group will be discussing The Poppy Fields\, by Nikki Erlick\, the NY Times bestselling author of the smash-hit The Measure. In a remote stretch of the California desert lies an experimental and controversial treatment center that allows those suffering from the heartache of loss to sleep through their pain…and keep on sleeping. After patients awaken from this prolonged state of slumber\, they will finally be healed. But only if they’re willing to accept the potential shadowy side effects. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. Large print copies are also available upon request.
