SUMMARY:Lewisboro Community Volunteer Fair
DESCRIPTION:Give back to your Community! This annual event pairs would-be volunteers with local agencies in need of help. A one-stop shop to find out about all the volunteer opportunities in our area. \nPlease take the time to stop by and speak with representatives of local groups who will have tables at the Library with information on their services and volunteer needs. \nThere are volunteer opportunities for adults AND teens. The Fair is the perfect way for newcomers to discover what the town has to offer\, for retirees to put their skills to work in volunteer positions and for families to teach the importance of giving back to others. It is also a great way for High School Seniors to scout out potential senior internships. \nParticipating groups this year include: boys team charity\, Goldens Bridge Fire Department\, Lewisboro Celebrates Pride\, Lewisboro Garden Club\, Lewisboro Trail Volunteers/NYNJ Trail Conference\, Lewisboro Library & Library Fair\, assorted Lewisboro Town Committees\, Lewisboro Volunteer Ambulance Corps\, Sustainable Westchester\, TRA (Transportation Resources Access)\, and the Vista Volunteer Fire Department and Auxiliary.\n \nA copy of the handout listing all organizations and their volunteer needs can be found at Volunteer Fair Contacts 2025.
