DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the Stevens Memorial United Methodist Church. The church is located at 9 Shady Lane\, South Salem All seniors are welcome! \nThis month the group will be discussing Behind the Beautiful Forevers: Life\, Death\, and Hope in a Mumbai Undercity. This non-fiction book\, written by the Pulitzer Prize-winner Katherine Boo\, won the National Book Award and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize\, among many others. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants. SUMMARY:Community Crafters: Puzzles\, Posies & Puppies!
DESCRIPTION:We have another great project for those who love to craft – and give back to others in our community! \nCrafters will stencil fall puzzles and make “Tea for Thee” teabag holders for our Homebound Senior Adults in Lewisboro. Each gift bag will also include a pack of Autumn Word Games with a Puppy Pencil\, Hydrangea Notecards\, tea\, sweets\, and a delicious homemade Boterkoek (Dutch Butter Cake) from Peter Rose. A vase of fresh fall flowers will be given with each gift. \nPlease register below.
