SUMMARY:Girls Who Code
DESCRIPTION:For Students in Grades 3 through 12. \nGirls Who Code is a non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. The club is a FREE after-school computer science program\, facilitated by Children’s Librarian Marie Nania and helpers from the JJHS Robotics Team. The club meets weekly. \nStudents are encouraged to bring their own laptops or Chromebooks; some will be provided. \nSpace is limited\, please register below. \nNote: photographs are often taken at our events to post on social media and our website. Please let the event leader know if you would prefer your child not be photographed.

DESCRIPTION:The Lewisboro Library Book Group usually meets at the Library on the last Wednesday of each month at 7:30 p.m. \nThe group is reading TWO books this month\, both about the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary. The nonfiction selection is The Professor and the Madman: A Tale of Murder\, Insanity and the Creation of the Oxford English Dictionary\, by Simon Winchester. The historical fiction novel dealing with the same subject is The Dictionary of Lost Words\, by Pip Williams. \nBooks are available through the Westchester Library System and copies are often ordered in advance for members to pick up at the Library.
