SUMMARY:Girls Who Code
DESCRIPTION:For Students in Grades 3 through 12. \nGirls Who Code is a non-profit organization dedicated to closing the gender gap in technology. The club is a FREE after-school computer science program\, facilitated by Children’s Librarian Marie Nania and helpers from the JJHS Robotics Team. The club meets weekly. \nStudents are encouraged to bring their own laptops or Chromebooks; some will be provided. \nSpace is limited\, please register below. \nNote: photographs are often taken at our events to post on social media and our website. Please let the event leader know if you would prefer your child not be photographed.

SUMMARY:(Virtual) True Crime Fiction Writing
DESCRIPTION:Via Zoom\n\n\nImagination meets investigation in this virtual five-week True Crime Fiction Writing program.  Each week writers will explore a True Crime case and put a new spin on the facts by writing stories from different points of view — neighbors\, co-workers\, the victim or the accused. The program is created and led by fiction writing teacher\, Kim Kovach.\n\n\nKim Kovach teaches fiction writing\, creative writing and personal story writing classes via Zoom. She is the author of six fiction books. DESCRIPTION:THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT\, BUT YOU CAN CONTACT THE LIBRARY TO BE PLACED ON THE WAIT LIST.\n\nBack by Popular Demand!\n      Come to the Horse & Hound for another evening of tricky trivia in support of the Lewisboro Library! Get ready for even more challenging questions\, fun and prizes!\n      Questions will cover a range of topics\, from general knowledge\, pop culture\, history\, sports and more. A great way to gather with your neighbors\, win prizes\, and compete for the title of Lewisboro Trivia Champions!\n\n      The best way to reserve seating is to form your team (ideally 2 – 6 players)\, and then have a team captain purchase seats for the group. Knowing the number on each team will help us in setting up the venue before everyone arrives. Of course\, individual players are also welcome!\n\n      Reserved seats are $25 per player\, and include a glass of house wine/tap beer. A full dinner menu and cash bar will also be available. We recommend teams arrive early to place their food/drink orders before the games begin at 7pm!\n      Hurry and reserve your spot today – space is limited and this WILL sell out quickly!
