DESCRIPTION:SORRY – THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!! \n  \nLooking for a unique Father’s Day gift – or hilarious date night? How about a NYC comedy club experience – right here in Lewisboro? That’s right\, it’s the return of the “Hard Headed Comedy Showcase.” This event features SIX stand-up comics – who regularly perform on TV\, podcasts and comedy clubs – now performing on the stage of the Library! \n\nAppearing that Night: \nPedro Gonzalez: a New York based Colombian American comedian who has appeared on the “Late Show with Stephen Colbert.” Besides touring the country as a stand up\, Pedro is a staff writer of the upcoming Amazon TV show “Primo.” \nMeghan O’Malley: has just debuted her 1st comedy album “FINDING THE POSITIVE\,” available on YouTube and iTunes. Her silly cleverness and love for animals will remind you of your Mom’s cool best friend that sat you down to tell you that your parents are getting a divorce. \nShelly Colman: a past winner of the national Ladies of Laughter competition\, a finalist at Boston Comedy Festival and\, most recently\, won the Ladies Room festival at Broadway Comedy Club. \nMichael Harrison: an award-winning comedian\, actor\, filmmaker and podcaster. Michael tours the globe performing in comedy clubs\, cruise ships and colleges\, and did a nationally syndicated half hour comedy special. His comedy album debuted at #1 on iTunes\, Spotify\, and Amazon. \nAlex Kollar: starting off in acting in 2009\, Alex made the transition from acting to standup in 2018.  In late 2019 he was runner up at the Empire State comedy competition\, and has performed at Laugh It Up Comedy Club\, and Rhino Comedy Club. \nand our host\, Luz Michelle: you might know her around town as “Lauren\,” but as Luz\, she has used her diverse background and life experiences to carve out a thriving career in comedy. With her distinct style and quick wit\, she has left audiences in stitches at renowned comedy venues like Caroline’s\, Gotham Comedy Club\, and The Stand. As the Founder of Hard Headed Comedy™\, Luz has brought her passion for the art form to the forefront\, producing live and streamed showcases that feature a dynamic mix of established and emerging comedic talent. \n\nWe are so grateful to Luz\, for organizing this fundraiser again for her hometown Library.
