SUMMARY:Lewisboro Seniors Book Group: "A Long Petal of the Sea"
DESCRIPTION:Our group meets in person on (usually) the third Wednesday of the month during the Lewisboro Senior Adults meeting at the South Salem Firehouse. All seniors are welcome! \nThe May meeting will be on the LAST Wednesday in May\, and the group will be discussing A Long Petal of the Sea\, by Isabel Allende. The novel follows two refugees from the Spanish Civil War\, whose mock marriage as they flee to Chile gradually deepens into real love\, set against a backdrop of war and upheaval. \nThe Library will provide copies of the book to all participants.
