Beginning with Washington Irving and James Fenimore Cooper\, and continuing through the centuries to current novelists\, this digital slide presentation focuses on several leading authors who used their real Westchester communities as inspiration in their fictional stories. \n \nIt will be presented by Barbara Davis\, Co-Director of the Westchester County Historical Society\, in  collaboration with the Lewisboro\, Warner\, Yonkers and Irvington libraries.
