Free Book & Music Downloads

The Library has free eBooks, audiobooks and music available for download onto your computer and digital devices. Click on the Digital Media Catalog tab above for access to the Westchester Library System's list of audiobook and eBook providers. The Digital Media Catalog will also link you to Flipster, a service that provides free digital editions of popular magazines, and Comics Plus: Library Edition, which has thousands of free digital graphic novels and comic books to borrow. Click on the Freegal Music Service tab above for access to the Sony Music catalog. You must enter your library card number and PIN.  If you have fines of $25 or more, your card will not be able to access these services.

Helpful databases

The Westchester Library System has many helpful databases that patrons may access free of charge from home using their library card. There are databases to help with investing, learning a new language, career advice and more. The databases can be reached via the Online Resources link above.

Library Email Newsletter

The Library has a monthly email newsletter to keep patrons informed of upcoming programs. To sign up for the service, send an email to lewisborolibrary@gmail.com.

Wireless Internet Access

Wireless Internet access is available at the library to use with your own wireless-enabled laptop or pda. In order to connect, your computer must have a WiFi-compatible network card installed (802.11b or 802.11g).  We also recommend a charged battery, as electrical outlets are limited. Wireless users agree to abide by the library policy on wireless use of the Internet. A copy of this policy can be found at the Circulation Desk.
