The theme of the Summer Reading Program is “Build a Better World.”
In addition to actual “building/engineering” programs for kids and teens, the Library is building a better world by giving back to the community.
We have crafting classes for children, teens and adults where they can make and donate items for animal shelters, senior facilities and women’s shelters.
We’re also encouraging patrons to participate in our Random Acts of Kindness program. The Library has an “Acts of Kindness” jar with suggestions for good deeds to do in our community. Stop by to pull a suggestion from the jar. Suggestions are color coded for children, adults and families.
Thank you for helping us Build a Better World!

Wireless Internet Access
Wireless Internet access is available at the library to use with your own wireless-enabled laptop or pda. In order to connect, your computer must have a WiFi-compatible network card installed (802.11b or 802.11g). We also recommend a charged battery, as electrical outlets are limited. Wireless users agree to abide by the library policy on wireless use of the Internet. A copy of this policy can be found at the Circulation Desk.
